Cape Town has definitaly some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. South Africa was one of the first countries outside Europe awarded with a "blue flag" for some beaches - and three of Cape Town's beaches are currently among them! The Blue Flag is a voluntary eco-label, which works towards sustainable development at beaches/marinas through strict criteria dealing with water quality, environmental education and information, environmental management, and safety and other services.
