Caves and Kings Tour (8hrs)
Visit the flat-topped hill called "Mountain at Night" or "Thaba-Bosiu" that proved almost invincible to King Moshoeshoe's enemies. The site is a burial ground for the royal family. You can place a pebble on Morena Moshoeshoe's grave as a sign of respect. You will also venture to a national heritage site - Kome Caves dwellings - built in the 19th century and still occupied by the original families. After learning about the history of this special nation, you will have the opportunity to visit local Mohair weavers in Teyateyaneng to view and purchase their Lesotho products before you are taken back to Maseru.

Maseru, Thaba-Bosiu, Matsieng and Morija Day Trip
Spend the day visiting a mountain fortress, Qiloane (Basotho Hat) Mountain, the Rural Royal Palace, and Morija Museum. Check out some fossilised dinosaur footprints and try your hand at pony trekking.

1 day Mokhethoaneng and Ha Kome
This day tour will give you a glimpse into everyday life in Lesotho. You'll also get to see some traditional performances and visit the famed Kome Cave dwellings.

1 day Ha Baroana & Mohale Dam
This day trip visits the Mohale Dam, 3 mountain passes and cave paintings. You will also go on a boat trip.

1 Day Sani Pass Tour

Depart from Underberg and travel via Himeville towards the Sani Pass, stopping at historical and view sites en route. Becoming one with the mountain splendour, flora, fauna and culture will be the order of the day.
After the South African border post at 1967 m, travel the 8 km of "no man's land" and climb 1000 m in a rugged 4X4 with skilled and trained mountain guides. Negotiate the hairpin bends with wonderful names like Suicide, Grays, Ice and Reverse Corner, and climb sections with a 30% gradient before reaching the summit and Lesotho.
After the border formalities, travel into Lesotho to a traditional village, visit with a family, and enter the houses of the local people for whom time has stood still for many year
Return to the Sani Top Chalet - the highest pub in Africa - for lunch, and then descend the Sani Pass and return to Underberg.
Passports are essential, and bring warm clothing.

Overnight Lesotho Dam Tour (2days)
This prehistoric landscape is ready to be explored. There is a chance you may glimpse the rare and endangered bearded vulture during your visit to the Bokong Nature Reserve which is mostly greater than 3000m above sea level. This afro-alpine Reserve is also home to other endemic birds and creatures. On Day 2 of the tour you will visit the impressive Lesotho dams for engineering talks and boat rides.

2 Day Sani Pass and Sani Top
Depart from Underberg and travel through the Ukahlamba World Heritage site, along the banks of the Umkomazana River to the South African border post, before travelling up the hairpin bends, climbing to 2874 m before crossing into Lesotho.
Travel through to Skierring to visit a home of the hardy mountain people, sample the local beer and bread.
Once back at Sani Top Chalet, check in to your preferred accommodation, on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
Before breakfast, meet out on the deck for sunrise and coffee, marvel at the spectacle of the sunrise from way below the deck.
The alternative is to hike out along the Twelve Apostles, a five-hour return trip, or for a more exhilarating experience, hike to Hodgsons Peak North, or the more challenging Hodgsons Peak South. Allow five and a half hours.
After lunch, the tour will return down Sani Pass to end back in Underberg.

2 day Katse Dam and Crafts Tour
Lesotho's highlands natural beauty lies waiting to be discovered on this 2 day trip. Mohair weavings and crafts in Teyateyaneng and Leribe makes great souvenirs. Watch the Basotho Ladies as they produce wonderful wall hangings with basic equipment.
A Picnic Lunch is enjoyed in Bokong Nature Reserve, one of Lesotho's Northern National Parks with an information centre that provides a view over the Lepaqoa River. Your overnight accommodation is comfortable and clean, giving you the opportunity to relax after a long day.
On Day 2 you partake in a Katse Dam Wall Tour to learn more about this engineering wonder before making your way back to Maseru.

2 Day Saga of Sani Pass and Mokhotlong
Travel from Underberg up the world famous Sani Pass stopping at view and historical sites en route. After a brief stop at Sani Top Chalet, travel on to summit Black Mountain Pass and you will be able to view Thabana Ntlenyana - the highest Peak in Southern Africa after a short walk. Continue on down Sehonghong Valley to 10 Riverside for an afternoon of Basotho Culture. After dinner continue on to St James Lodge for your overnight.
The next Morning, depart from St James after a visit to the St James Church, with its painted ceiling and head for what was once the remotest post in the British Empire, then walk down the main street of this remote rural Basotho town for a true African feel.
Return up Sehonghong Valley to Sani Top for lunch before heading down the Sani Pass to Underberg.
Pickup info: Collect from any of the B&B's in Underberg, or from Senqu (Shop 26) in the Underberg Village Mall. Safe parking is available and arrangements can be made for accommodation before and after the tour.

5 day Mountain Waterfalls Pony Ride
Your sure footed Basotho pony will take you past the Maletsunyane Waterfall home of the world's longest abseil. Continue over mountains to reach the Ketane Valley where the Ketane Falls wait to be explored. Your last waterfall on the trek is the impressive Ribaneng Waterfall. Traditional huts offers basic village accommodation and the opportunity to interact and learn from the Basotho people. Exploring the Mountains of Lesotho on a traditional Basotho pony is an adventure not to be missed.

8 Day Lesotho Tour
On the eight days to discover Lesotho, you will uncover dinosaur footprints, Royal Palace, Katse and Mohale Dam, as well as Semonkong's world record abseil. There are many optional excursions, such as community based donkey riding tours, and Basotho pony rides, with traditional performances to learn about the Basotho culture.
