Most of the tra:mag routes tour suggestions are based on the BazBus and other major bus companies routes, but you can also follow the itinerary with a rental car.

"The Mountaineer" (5 stops)
This route suggestion is especially compiled for travellers who are into hiking and enyoing the stunning scenery of the Drakensberg mountains. Starting point is Pretoria (or Johannesburg). Next stop on the route is Amphitheatre, which offers amazing hikes and tours into the neighbouring Kingdom of Lesotho. Winterton, the "gateway to the central Drakensberg", is the next destination before this route suggestion ends in Durban, the capital of KwaZulu Natal.

Cape Town Urban Adventure Tours

"The Mini Coastal Explorer" (9 stops)
This route suggestion is starting in Durban, the capital of KwaZulu Natal. After spending a couple of days in the city with the biggest Indian community out of India, the tour is going southwards along the Wildcoast, stopping in Mpande (The Kraal) and/or Coffee Bay, to Cintsa. Next stop is Hogsback in the Amatola Mountains. From there the route is going to East London and Port Elizabeth (P.E.), which is quite close to the Addo National Park. After entering the Garden Route the tour is stopping in Jeffreys Bay, Knysna and Hermanus before Cape Town is finally arrived.

"The Crazy Loop" (10 stops, loop)
This route suggestion is starting in Pretoria or Johannesburg. After spending some time in the Gauteng, the route is going eastwards to Nelspruit in Mpumalanga. Nelspruit is the gateway to the world famous Kruger National Park. After spending some days in the park the tour is going to Swaziland, the only still existing absolute monarchy on the African continent. From here the route is bringing us back to South Africa, namely to St. Lucia. From St. Lucia, from where you can easily visit the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Park, the next stop is Eshowe, right in the heart of the Zululand. After another stop in Durban the route goes via Pietermaritzburg into the Drakensberg. First stop along the way is the Central Berg, followed by a stop in the Northern Berg, before the route is heading back to Gauteng.

"Beside The Hidden Path" (8 stops)
This route suggestion covers the coastline between Port Elizabeth in the east and Cape Town in the west, also known as the Garden Route. Along the route are eight stopovers including Jeffreys Bay for a surf, Storms River for world's highest bungee, Plettenberg Bay for some chillaxing, Wilderness and Oudtshoorn for some adventure sports, Hermanus and finally Cape Town.

"The Coastal Explorer" (16 stops)
The Coastal Explorer is the big brother of "The Mini Coastal Explorer". While the "mini" is stopping at eight places between Durban and Cape Town, the "Coastal Explorer" ist stopping at sixteen places. Double the time twice as much places.
From Durban the route is going via the Wildcoast, along Mpande, Coffee Bay and Cintsa, to Hogsback and East London. From PE on the route is entering the Garden Route stopping in Jeffreys Bay, Storm River (world's highest bungee), Nature's Valley, Knysna, Wilderness, Oudtshoorn (the ostrich capital of the world), Swellendam, Hermanus and finally in the Mother City, Cape Town.

"From PTA to CT" (21 stops)
"From PTA to CT" stands for "From Pretoria to Cape Town". This route suggestion is covering almost the full 90 days of the normal tourist visa. The tour is starting in Pretoria, going to Kruger National Park, through Swaziland, Zululand to Durban. From Durbs southwards along the Wildcoast to PE and finally along the Garden Route to Cape Town.
